1:12 1:15 deteriorating situation in Gaza City and
1:15 1:17 the growing concerns for civilians with
1:17 1:19 hospitals in the Hamas controll
1:19 1:22 territory now surrounded by fighting the
1:22 1:25 images take a look a massive Fireball
1:25 1:27 exploding near one major hospital and
1:27 1:30 about 6 mil away the horror as a
1:30 1:32 projectile is seen falling on the
1:32 1:34 compound of another hospital Gaza City's
1:34 1:37 largest Israel saying it was yet another
1:37 1:40 misfire from a terrorist organization
1:40 1:42 and it all comes after Israel agreed to
1:42 1:45 daily 4-Hour humanitarian pauses to
1:45 1:47 allow civilians to flee with Secretary
1:47 1:49 of State Anthony blinkin saying today
1:49 1:52 quote far too many Palestinians have
1:52 1:54 been killed and as negotiators work to
1:54 1:57 free those nearly 240 hostages being
1:57 2:00 held by Hamas or Kier Simmons is in Tel

2:34 2:37 brother she cries tonight Israel says
2:37 2:39 radar evidence shows one strike on the
2:39 2:42 alifa hospital was from a misfired
2:42 2:44 rocket from a Palestinian terrorist
2:44 2:47 organization Israel says Hamas has
2:47 2:49 operated a command center under alifa
2:49 2:52 Hospital using civilians as human
2:52 2:55 Shields Hamas has turned hospitals into
2:55 2:57 fortified positions this is the
2:57 2:58 challenge that we are facing this is
2:58 3:01 precisely why we're encouraging people
3:01 3:04 to go south you in a war zone we spoke
3:04 3:07 to a doctor at alifa hospital tonight
3:07 3:10 have you seen any Hamas Fighters Islamic
3:10 3:13 Jihad any group like that there no no I
3:13 3:16 told come they they want Len the people
3:16 3:19 won't allow them the us today with blunt
3:19 3:22 criticism of the civilian death toll far
3:22 3:24 too many Palestinians have been killed
3:24 3:26 and we want to do everything possible to
3:26 3:29 prevent harm Israel today pointing to
3:29 3:31 these two humanitarian corridors it's
3:31 3:34 created and a continuing Exodus of
3:34 3:37 thousands of Palestinians our camera
3:37 3:39 crew in Gaza meeting a man whose family
3:39 3:42 of 15 say they didn't want to leave
3:42 3:45 their home but felt forced to it was
3:45 3:49 basically torture uh we went uh tanks
3:49 3:54 were left and right they were shooting
3:54 3:58 everywhere near us around us inside Gaza
3:58 4:00 Hamas still has hasn't released more
4:00 4:04 hostages Israel says any ceasefire now
4:04 4:07 after the murder of 1200 Israelis would
4:07 4:09 be a surrender to Hamas there won't be a
4:09 4:12 ceasefire without the release of the
4:12 4:15 Israeli hostages all right K let's pick
4:15 4:17 up right there you have new reporting on
4:17 4:20 the negotiations to free these hostages
4:20 4:22 including
4:22 4:24 Americans Tom an official with knowledge
4:24 4:26 of the talks tells me they've stalled in
4:26 4:29 the past over how many hostages would be
4:29 4:31 released and that is still a sticking
4:31 4:34 point tonight Tom despite progress Tom
4:34 4:35 let's hope some get out all right K we
4:35 4:37 thank you for that and the war abroad is
4:37 4:39 fueling tenses here at home both
4:39 4:42 anti-semitic and islamophobic incidents
4:42 4:44 are on the rise college campuses

4:46 4:49 posters showing kidnapped Israelis being
4:49 4:52 ripped apart we get more now from Anne
4:52 4:56 Thompson college campuses lamposts and
4:56 4:58 city blocks in this country these are
4:58 5:00 the new Flash points of of the Israel
5:00 5:01 Hamas
5:01 5:04 War escalating tensions over the past
5:04 5:07 month at New York's Columbia University
5:07 5:09 led to today's suspension of two student
5:09 5:12 groups both Pro Palestinian accused of
5:12 5:15 violating school policy with threatening
5:15 5:18 rhetoric and intimidation at Ohio State
5:18 5:20 the University's President says there
5:20 5:21 were two incidents that targeted the
5:21 5:25 Jewish community in the last 24 hours
5:25 5:27 two students were assaulted the Jewish
5:27 5:30 Center vandalized meanwhile across the
5:30 5:32 country people are tearing down pictures
5:32 5:37 of the 239 hostages held by Hamas I feel
5:37 5:38 personally attacked why are you taking
5:38 5:41 this off many incidents going viral
5:41 5:44 including this one by a Florida dentist
5:44 5:47 here's his explanation it's to promote
5:47 5:50 peace it's to you know deescalate the
5:50 5:52 situation for many Jewish people this is
5:52 5:55 anything but deescalation this is what
5:55 5:57 happened to a sign covered with posters
5:57 6:00 at the University of Minnesota sadly
6:00 6:04 there is so much um anger the Israeli
6:04 6:06 artists who created and hung the first
6:06 6:09 posters in New York City are shaken by
6:09 6:11 the reactions I lost a little bit of
6:11 6:15 Hope regarding Humanity nits on mince
6:15 6:17 and d a bandaid who prefers to keep his
6:17 6:20 face hidden say the goal is awareness
6:20 6:22 not politics what do you want people to
6:22 6:25 see when they look at these posters we
6:25 6:29 want we want them to see the real humans
6:29 6:32 they yeah real human beings you know
6:32 6:35 even Los Angeles's Museum of Tolerance
6:35 6:36 is not
6:36 6:39 immune police had to break up this brawl
6:39 6:41 outside a screening of hamas's attack on
6:41 6:44 October 7th Israeli actress gal gadoo
6:44 6:46 helped promote it the anger fear and
6:46 6:49 suffering of this conflict Without

7:32 7:34 with the investigation Adams tonight
7:34 7:37 saying I have nothing to hide questions
7:37 7:39 appear to center around Adams Chief
7:39 7:42 campaign fundraiser 25-year-old Brianna

8:41 8:43 considered seizing the devices during
8:43 8:45 the mayor's appearance Sunday at the New
8:45 8:47 York City marathon again the mayor

10:07 10:10 confirmed election offices have recently
10:10 10:12 received threatening letters some laced
10:12 10:15 with fentanyl I just want to really
10:15 10:17 emphasize the seriousness of this you
10:17 10:19 know some people like to call fentanyl a
10:19 10:23 drug but it's actually poison it'll kill

11:17 11:19 growing after the US shot down that

11:23 11:26 President Biden is likely to press sh on

11:33 11:35 regarding election interference heading
11:35 11:38 into the 2024 election this meeting not
11:38 11:39 expected to produce major announcements
11:39 11:41 a White House official telling us simply
11:41 11:43 restoring communication between the two
11:43 11:45 Count's militaries Tom would be viewed
11:45 11:48 as significant progress it would be all
11:48 11:49 right Peter we thank you for that great
11:49 11:50 to see you here in New York and as
11:50 11:52 pressure mounts on the B Administration
11:52 11:54 to limit civilian casualties in the
11:54 11:56 Middle East tonight an American family
11:56 11:58 that just got out of Gaza is sharing
11:58 12:01 their story of being trapped for 27 days
12:01 12:03 here's Antonia
12:03 12:06 Hilton for a Waffa and one-year-old
12:06 12:08 Yousef this is their very first time
12:08 12:11 outside playing in the grass trying out
12:11 12:13 the swing at home in Massachusetts in
12:13 12:16 over a month just days ago they were one
12:16 12:18 of the palestinian-american families
12:18 12:21 pleading to go through the Rafa Crossing
12:21 12:26 and flee Gaza our biggest um hope was
12:26 12:28 that hey this is a nightmare that we
12:28 12:30 wake up from they were visiting family
12:30 12:32 in Northern Gaza when they awoke on
12:32 12:35 October 7th to the unmistakable sounds
12:35 12:38 of War air strikes intensify at night as
12:38 12:40 soon as the sun sets I think that's when
12:40 12:43 everybody knows that
12:43 12:46 um time to start praying for the night
12:46 12:49 to pass through and then uh be alive in
12:49 12:51 the morning how does that affect you as
12:51 12:54 a parent when you're number one hope in
12:54 12:56 the world is to keep your child safe
12:56 12:58 wondering if you're going to be able to
12:58 13:01 do that to be honest when we were there
13:01 13:04 um it was one question I used to pray
13:04 13:09 like every moment for god um please not
13:09 13:11 take one of us three of us yeah it made
13:11 13:13 us feel helpless I think Yousef could
13:13 13:15 end up being on the news like the many
13:15 13:18 other innocent children that have died
13:18 13:21 um and and and that was heartbreaking
13:21 13:23 for us Waffa and a cat named milka would
13:23 13:26 entertain Yousef as AB waited in hours
13:26 13:29 long lines for food and off in dirty
13:29 13:32 water by the time you get to the line
13:32 13:34 you don't even want to eat bread anymore
13:34 13:36 the amount of DEH humilation that you've
13:36 13:38 seen standing in lines for something as
13:38 13:40 basic as
13:40 13:44 bread um it eats away at you after being
13:44 13:46 turned away repeatedly at the Egyptian
13:46 13:50 border on November 2nd finally they
13:50 13:52 received permission to cross but safety
13:52 13:54 for their son meant leaving their
13:54 13:56 parents and siblings in uncertainty
13:56 13:59 knowing that bad news could come at any
13:59 14:02 moment um makes it hard to stop to start
14:02 14:06 feeling normal even if not physically uh
14:06 14:08 we're very much still in it making it
14:08 14:10 almost impossible to find peace even

10:07 10:10 confirmed election offices have recently
10:10 10:12 received threatening letters some laced
10:12 10:15 with fentanyl I just want to really
10:15 10:17 emphasize the seriousness of this you
10:17 10:19 know some people like to call fentanyl a
10:19 10:23 drug but it's actually poison it'll kill

14:06 14:08 we're very much still in it making it
14:08 14:10 almost impossible to find peace even
14:10 14:14 back home in the US Antonia Hilton NBC
